Orangutans, also known as the man of the forest, can be found in their nests in the high canopies of trees in Bornean rain forests. The orangutan population has been greatly diminished over the years as a direct result of deforestation linked to palm oil production. So, what can we do to protect the Bornean orangutan population?

Edward Hopper was an American painter during the early progressive era, made famous for his oil paintings. Born in 1882 in Nyack, New York, Hopper was always been inspired by his surroundings. This can be seen in his early portrayals of landscapes and small town scenes, similar to where he was raised in Nyack.
